Awesome Kids at Christmas

Makall and her friends did an awesome service this Christmas, one of their friends has a cousin with cancer, the family did not have enough money for Christmas so Makall and her friends raised over $1200.00 to do Christmas for the family. They went door to door all over Layton selling pizza's. When they were delivering the pizza's they even found time to shovel the neighbor's drive way.

Chatwin Family Christmas Party

Te Chatwin Party was Brynlee's 1st visit with Santa, Morgan, Jordan and Brynlee were the only ones who could come. Kate & Jenna were at work & Makall was selling pizza with her friends.

Give Thanks!

We had a quiet Thanksgiving dinner with just our family, Brynlee is only 1 month old and wedon't want her to be around to many people. We didn't like sick babies. Jenna was the hero, she made all of the pies, set the table and helped Mom with dinner. Morgan made the best sweet potatoes ever. After dinner we played games. It was a great day, we have much to be thankful for.

Brynlee, 3 days old. She is such a good baby, she is awake a lot for a 3 day old but never makes a peep. She loves to be snuggled.

Welcome Brynlee Virginia Squire !!!!!

Morgan and Jordan have great news that they are sharing with all of us, their baby has finally arrived. Brynlee Virginia Squire was born October29th at 12:26 P.M. Morgan went into labor around 10:00P.M. on the 28th, she was smart enough to stop her blood thinners she has been taking for her blood clot. She went to the hospital around 3 A.M. Dr. Hurst came around 8:00 and broke her water. After a few contractions she was ready for her epidural. By 9:00 she had dilted to 5 cm. When the nurse checked her an hour later to everyoned surprise she was completely dilated. The Dr. arrived at noon and Brynlee was born at 12:26. She came out crying which is always a relief. Jordan was able to cut the cord, she had apgar scores of 8& 9. What a wonderful surprise for all of us! Brynlee weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches long. She was wide awake for quite a while. Morgan looked great, no one would have ever guessed she had just had a baby, good job Morgan your awesome.

The Halloween Party

We had a scaled down party this year, we had to do it early because Kate & Linda both had to work on Halloween night. Morgan and Jordan have been getting ready for the baby so there costumes were well hard to find. I guess they were dressed up like parents. We had pizza for dinner and then carved pumpkins.

Roller skating

Reagan got a free roller skating coupon from school so we all decided to go skating. The girls had alot of fun. Jim decided it would be easier to teach his girls to skate if he knew how to skate himself. Lucky for the girls Favorite Aunt Linda and Katie knew how to skate. Megan decided that being pregnant was not the best time to skate so she was our photographer.

Afternoon swim

We had a fun afternoon swimming at the community pool, we floated down the lazy river & sat in the hot tub. Bekah went down the water slide and Reagan was brave and walked on the floating log.

Fun times in Denver

We went for a short visit Denver Our first stop was to Maggiano's for dinner. They have the best Italian food ever. Jim meet us for dinner on his way home from work.

The girls like the table with the chandelier over it, it reminds them of The Phantom of the Opera. For desert we shared a peanut butter stack. It was almost as good as the dinner but not quite.

Morgan's nursery is coming along nicely, she and Jordan are getting it painted, Jenna and I helped her with the polka-dot wall.
